Guide to March Break

Guide to March BreakWe did it, guys!  We made it through February and March Break is finally just a few days away.  As someone who is childless and not entirely on vacation next week, I’m just happy to know that spring is on its way.  For those of you with kids, have you made plans to keep them busy next week?  In case you’re still looking for fun, local activities to send them to, or enjoy with them, we’ve created a handy guide to all the March Break events we could find in K-town.  If we missed one, please let us know!

Week-long camps:

Boys and Girls Club:  various age-specific camps focusing on sports and recreation, creative arts, science and technology, and culinary skills at the Robert Meeks Community Youth Centre.  Cost is $175 for the entire week, which includes healthy lunch and snacks, swimming, a special trip and more. Space is limited, registration required.

The YMCA: This camp is geared towards kids ages 5-12.  Each day has a different theme and is filled with games and other fun activities such as swimming, arts and crafts and sport and will include a trip to Little Cat.  The cost per day is $33.50 for members, $35.25 for non-members and runs from 9am-4pm with extended hours for drop-off and pick-up at no extra charge.
