Kingston Interval House will be holding its Annual General Meeting with Antje McNeely, Kingston’s newest female Deputy Chief of Police as the keynote speaker. Deputy Chief McNeely will be speaking about the accomplishments and challenges that arise as the community works together to respond to violence against women. Another guest speaker, a survivor of domestic violence, will speak to her personal experience of how community supports affected her ability to live a violence-free life.
Taking place at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library, Central Branch, 130 Johnson Street, the evening will begin at 5:30 pm. with a mix and mingle, followed by speakers at 6:00 p.m. The AGM Business Meeting will proceed after a short break at 7:00 p.m.
