Brazilian Carnival Celebration!

Kick off Culture Days with a Brazilian Carnival Celebration! Join the instructors of the Kingston School of Dance and the musicians of Samba Maracuja for a free Afro Cuban and Samba dance class at the Kingston School of Dance.  Let the rhythm take you away at 6:45, as Samba Maracuja warms up the crowd with the infectious beats of Brazil. From 7:00 to 8:00, there will be a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on as Ebon Gage and Melissa Mahady Wilton of the Kingston School of Dance lead a dance party for all ages and abilities. No dance experience or special shoes are needed! A perfect way for individuals and families to enjoy fantastic live musicians and move it, move it! From 8:00 to 8:15, cool down as you enjoy more music and the chance to try your own hand at drumming with Samba Maracuja. Come join the fun and celebrate Culture Days – it’s gonna be hot, hot, hot!
