This event kicks off In Your Own Words | The Kingston Poetry Project and invites anyone to write about their City through a variety of ways over the next year.
Come to Memorial Hall at City Hall and discover why this City is filled with so many talented and enthusiastic citizens who follow their passion as poets and writers… and how you can express yourself with just a pencil and an idea. No experience required! Kingston’s inaugural Poet Laureate, Eric Folsom, welcomes his friends and colleagues – David Helwig, Joanne Page, Carolyn Smart and Daniel David Moses to read selections of their works and encourage the audience to write their own poems to share.
