Hundreds of teenage boys, along with their families and coaches, will be descending on Kingston for the annual OFSAA Soccer Tournament which features the best in Ontario high school boys’ soccer. To celebrate the great sport of soccer, downtown Kingston presents “Soccer in the Square”.
The event kicks off at 4pm with Play Soccer Interactive. This group, often found at Toronto FC games, provides an interactive, educational and fun experience for soccer fans of all ages. Play Soccer will run until 8pm.
Starting at 7pm some of Kingston’s best high school bands will be live in the Market Square Courtyard.
The evening will end with a special pre- Movies in the Square showing of Bend it Like Beckham beginning once it’s dark enough (roughly 9pm). Be sure to bring along a lawn chair!
OFSAA is being hosted by staff and coaches from KCVI and the movie is kindly sponsored by 98.9 The Drive, 98.3 Fly FM and 103.7 Bob FM.
