The fourth annual Queen’s Educational Pow Wow, hosted by Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre, will take place at the Agnes Benedickson Field behind Grant Hall.
The sacred event features dancers, drummers and First Nations elders who will share native spirituality, customs and traditions. The event runs all day with the sunrise ceremony set for 6 a.m., the grand entry at noon and the closing ceremonies at 5 p.m.
The event is open to the public. Admission is free but people are asked to bring a donation to the Queen’s student food bank.
