Take Back the Night is an internationally recognize, women-led demonstration to protest the way violence permeates the lives of women. For over 30 years this event represents one moment when women can live free of violence and the threat of violence in their communities. A moment that one day can be our future.
The rally will begin at Confederation Basin at 7pm with the march commencing at 7:30pm. Children and those who identify as women are invited to participate in the march. Men are welcomed to show their support by cheering the marching women and children on from the sides of the march.
The event will wrap up back at Confederation Basin with a free concert featuring Emily Fennell at 8:15pm.
