Movies in the Square is an opportunity for families to enjoy popular movies in our picturesque Market Square, located just behind City Hall. The show starts at dusk, while all attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, snacks and blankets.
Some Like it Hot tells the story of two struggling musicians who witness the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre and are subsequently on the run from the mob. They take jobs with an all girl band and dress up as women. In addition to hiding, each has their own problems: one falls for another band member but can’t tell her his gender, and the other has a rich suitor who will not take “No,” for an answer.
