Based in Hamilton, Turkey Rhubarb is Dale Behnke (mandolin), Gerry Dion (guitar) and Paul Fralick (guitar). They bring a fun approach to performing traditional children’s folk songs in English, French and Spanish from all over the world.
Dale, Gerry and Paul are great believers in the value of diversity and support this belief by singing in different languages. Turkey Rhubarb has been performing together for 17 years and show a profound respect for children at every performance. Their harmonies, humour and sense of fun are worth a listen.
Check out their fun and interactive website where you can hear tunes and watch videos of the band in action. Then head over to The Turner Branch of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (935 Gardiners Rd.) at 10:30am on July 15th or The Pittsburgh Branch (80 Gore Rd.) at 2pm for an outdoor sing and see for yourself!
