The Society of Conservation Biology sponsored a School Yard Make-over Competition, which was won by Mulberry Waldorf School’s Grade 3/4 and 5/6 classes. Our school submitted a portfolio of student illustrations which detailed their wishes and plans for greening their school yard.
Daniella Petras and Kristen Kilroy, Society of Conservation Biology School Yard Makeover Co-Chairs, wrote, “We were very impressed with the detail of your submissions for the 2010 School Yard Makeover Eco-Edition Competition.”
Come down on Friday, June 4th , when Society of Conservation Biology members along with representatives from Western Landscaping will join students, teachers and parents in helping to transform 3 areas of the yard.
