CFRC 101.9 FM, Canada’s longest-running campus radio broadcaster, opens its doors to alumni and community members for an Open House from 1-4pm.
CFRC is Kingston’s only campus-community radio station, broadcasting from Queen’s University since 1922. On May 28, CFRC staff and volunteers invite you to drop by our studios in Lower Carruthers Hall next to the Campus Bookstore. Enjoy tea and cookies prepared by CFRC staff and volunteers; take a tour of our facilities; join hosts live on the air to share your memories of CFRC; or record a station identification message for listeners to hear.
The Open House is being organized as part of Queen’s University’s Spring Reunion weekend, May 28-30, 2009. This event is open to the public: all Queen’s alumni and Kingston community members are welcome and admission is free. Hope to see you there!
