Mulberry Waldorf School is undertaking a Capital Campaign with the financial goal of raising funds to help pay for their newly purchased building (27 Markland St.) and the broader goal of making this building a home for current and future generations of students, their families and community.
The school will be holding a public dance at Zorba’s Banquet Hall with local Motown band Heatwave. Heatwave is Kingston’s newest 8-person dance band. They came together in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Motown Records, and they all share a love of the Motown sound. It is perfect music for dancing and for singing along with all those familiar hits out of Detroit in the 60s and 70s.
Tickets are $15 in advance (available at Mulberry Waldorf School, Tara, Brian’s Record Option and Renaissance) and $20 at the door
