Mayworks Festival of Labour and the Arts

The Kingston Mayworks Collective is a community collective of workers, students and artists who believe that bridging art and labour can bring powerful social change.  From May 1-9 the collective will present various events including a MayDay Festival in Skeleton Park, a walking tour of Kingston’s Swamp Ward, speakers discussing various topics related to labour in a variety of locations, a variety night and dance party and an art exhibit at Modern Fuel.  For a full schedule of events, go to http://opirgkingston.org/mayworks/.
