Ottawa band Kingdom Shore covers the earth with their contemporary string music from an anxious world, before (or after) author Nelson Ross Laguna launches his book Sun, Fun & Slavery: How the South Became the North’s Playground (Exile Press) by leading a discussion about the neo-colonial practice of the South American tourism industry.
This event is happening at AKA (Autonomous Social Centre) $7 suggested donation for the gainfully employed, $4 for the under-waged/under-employed/student. Otherwise, pay what you can. No genuine interest will be turned away. This event is all ages.
After covering traveling costs, all proceed go toward the continuing existence and operation of AKA. This stop on the tour will also feature the Exile Infoshop Traveling Bookstore of radical books and zines.
