Grant-Writing Workshop

The Kingston Arts Council presents an Interactive Grant-Writing Workshop in the Delahaye room at Kingston Frontenac Public Library (130 Johnson).  Speakers will include Ted Worth and Sayyida Jaffer of the KAC City of Kingston Arts Fund and special guest Vera Kettnaker from the Community Foundation for Kingston and Area.  Topics covered will be how to find granting opportunities that meet your needs, how to plan your budget and granting dos and don’ts.

The workshop will provide and opportunity for participants to:

-evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of mock grant applications

-talk one-on-one with a facilitator about your grant application.

Please bring specific questions.  This workshop is wheelchair accessible and FREE.  All are welcome to attend.  The focus will be on the general principles of grant-writing and is not arts specific.

Might be worth mentioning that it's February 23rd :)

I missed it too — especially the time, in that small print. Perhaps you'd mention the date and time in the body of the post? The more times the information is there, the less likely someone will overlook it.

    • Agreed, and thanks for the suggestion. We'll try to make sure this is done for future events we enter in the database. That said, there are tons of upcoming stuff we aren't about to comb through and update.
