Feb Fest, 24 Hour Snow Sculpture Competition, Winter Festival, Kingston, OntarioTGIF!  It’s been hectic week around the Limestone City thanks to Reelout and a slew of events associated with Feb Fest.  Earlier on in the week I wrote about my encounter with the Stanley Cup, which is the only Feb Fest event I’ve made it to thus far.  Luckily, some other folks posted a few videos and photos of the OHL All Star game and skills competition, the Flying Canucks, as well as the Tom Cochrane concert.  The 24-hour snow sculpture competition between Queen’s, RMC and the defending champs from St. Lawrence College is nearly finished, while later this weekend the Limestone Classic, NHL Alumni and Historic Hockey Series will keep Market Square buzzing with activity.  If standing out in the cold all weekend long doesn’t seem appealing, take a look at what’s playing at Reelout, which officially wraps up tomorrow night with a party at the Artel.

Thanks to Matt Pedlar for today’s photo, showing off last year’s winning snow sculpture created by the team from St. Lawrence College.  I can’t wait to see what the teams come up with this year.  And yes, I am cheering for my alma mater.  Go Queen’s!
