Come to Market Square and be amazed! The aptly-names Flying Canucks are a group featuring past, present and future Olympians in the sports of freestyle skiing, snowboarding and trampoline. They will be performing their tricks on a trampoline, which will be set up for each show. This year’s show will feature 3-time Olympian and 2-time Canadian Champion Jeff Bean, former Cirque du Soleil member Olivier Lemieux as well as several other new Canadian stars.
The Flying Canucks perform outstanding aerial acrobatic skiing, snowboarding and new-school freestyle “Big Air” manoeuvres. They jump, flip, somersault, twist and turn individually and simultaneously in synchronization, to the high energy beats of a dynamic soundtrack. It’s the most entertaining combination of action and athleticism!
The shows are sure to be a hit with the whole family. Performances are scheduled for 1pm, 5pm, 7pm and 8pm. The Flying Canucks will stick around after each show for pictures and autographs.
