The Kingston Youth Space is a youth-led Hepatitis C prevention project located at 20 Montreal St. The centre has been open for approximately 3 months and offers support to people under the age of 24. Some services available are:
-Hepatitis C education
-harm reduction supplies and support
-job and housing board
-food and clothing cupboard
-community referrals and connections
-cold weather kits
-art programs
-volunteer opportunities
The Kingston Youth Space will be holding a fundraiser dance at The Grad Club. The event is 19+ and admission is a $7-10 sliding scale or $5 with a non-perishable food item. The night will feature live performances by local youth, an art gallery, silent auction, poetry slam, prizes and more.
