Adapted from the classic Christina Rossetti poem, Theatre Kingston presents Goblin Market, a striking theatrical foray into the secret and sexually charged fantasies of two sisters who relive their childhood experiences in an imaginary world, where they are tempted by seductive goblins.
This production, previewing November 19 at The Baby Grand (218 Princess St), stars Queen’s grad and Shaw Festival darling Robin Evan Willis (Sunday in the Park with George, A Little Night Music, and Play Orchestra Play) and local favourite (Beauty and the Beast) Maryanne Wainman. Queen’s drama department head Tim Fort directs, and the show features Kingston musicians Danielle Lennon, Sarah McCourt and Michael Man.
Tickets: Adults $25.10, Senior/Student $17.75* – General Admission (includes all applicable service charges)
Preview and Matinees are Pay-What-You-Can.
