@mark Save for tempura and California rolls, I can't remember what other veg options they had. No website or menu online, but will check next time we hit this place up.

@ Flying_Monkey Obviously you're a purist when it comes to sushi. There's nothing wrong with that, and I note that you're haven't said the tempura filled stuff in Kingston tastes bad, rather different/untraditional. Way back when, burger purists probably balked when some genius added bacon and fried mushrooms to the mix.

Sima is definitely the best I've had in Kingston, but it's still not much like proper Japanese sushi - which never has tempura in it, for example, and tastes of exactly what it is. I'm surprised to hear people say that they think they have loads of good Japanese restaurants in Kingston. There aren't any from what I've seen. Plenty of cheap ersatz sushi places, but that isn't representative of Japanese food anyway.

BTW, I saw someone collecting a take-out when I was last in Sima (sic) so I am guessing they will do it.

I fully agree that this was one of my best sushi experiences - ever. I will be going back here very soon, and am hoping to discover that they'll accommodate take out orders. Otherwise, although we have sushi fever as of late, I promise that Kingstonist is not turning into a sushi diary.
