The trumpets will sound on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the Grand Theatre as National Arts Centre Orchestra’s principal trumpet Karen Donnelly performs Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto. Also on the program, Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets including the KSA’s own principal trumpet Wayne Tindale, Kingston composer Marjan Mozetich’s Postcards from the Sky, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
