Come and get up close and personal watching firefighters competing in the “Toughest Two Minutes in Sports” at the Eastern Ontario Regional Firefit Event on August 1 and 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the INVISTA Centre (1350 Gardiners Rd).
Hosted by the City of Kingston, this exciting event will bring over 150 firefighters from across Ontario and Western Quebec to our great City. This event is a competition where firefighters perform a set of tasks that simulate duties often required at an emergency scene demonstrating the dedication and physical fitness of today’s firefighters. In addition to the excitement of the competition, there will also be a number of activities surrounding the course which will be available free of charge to the spectators and families in attendance.
