As a result of our new official policy on idling/drive thrus, these new stores (or at least the drive thrus) are in jeopardy, and Timmies may contest Kingston's anti-drive thru position with the Ontario Municipal Board. I would imagine ppl would pay, and if nothing else, fast food companies would be making more money, or at least offsetting any revenue loses. Perhaps coupons wouldn't be needed though. Not sure how to do it but perhaps a charge to use the drive through service will deter most that will conveniently use it? For the elderlies and handicapped, perhaps they can get coupons to use these services? I don't know... Realistically, people are only motivated in two ways - punishment and incentives.
